Dollar Tree Easter Wreath

You can make this adorable Dollar Tree Easter Wreath in under an hour for about 10 bucks! You'll find everything you need at the dollar store.

Ingredients

  • 2 Round Wreath Forms 14 inch
  • 2 packages Spanish Moss
  • 2 packages Speckled Plastic Easter Eggs
  • 1 Wood Bunny Cutout
  • Ribbon
  • Jute
  • Hairspray optional, can use chicken wire ribbon instead

Instructions

  • Lay one wreath form face down on a table, with the edge curving up toward you. Place a layer of moss inside the wreath form, taking care not to tear the moss into small pieces.

  • Place 12 plastic Easter eggs on the moss, nestling them down into the moss.

  • Place the second wreath form over the eggs, with the edges curving down.

  • Use jute to tie the top and bottom wreath forms together securely.

  • Tuck moss inside the wreath forms, then use scissors to trim any moss that won't stay inside. If desired, secure the moss by liberally spraying wreath with hairspray or wrapping with chicken wire ribbon.

  • Tie a ribbon around the bunny's neck, then hot glue the wood cutout bunny to the wreath.

Notes

Feel free to embellish the wreath further if you'd like. You could add faux flowers in between the eggs, or tuck a small floral pick or carrot pick in the ribbon around the bunny's neck. I hung the wreath directly on a wreath hook, but you could also use burlap ribbon to make a large loop or bow at the top of the wreath for hanging it.
