Cut the foam cone vertically to make one side flat. Also cut around the corner at the top wide edge to make it more carrot shaped.
Start gluing the rope onto the foam cone at the bottom (the pointed end). Continue gluing the rope on the foam cone in a spiral.
If you run out of rope, start a new piece, making sure this seam is on the back of the carrot (flat side).
Continue gluing on rope until the entire cone is covered except for a small opening on the top (the wide end) where you will add greenery. Create a loop for hanging and securely glue the end of the rope.
Paint the carrot orange using watered down acrylic craft paint or spray paint. Allow to dry completely.
Stick faux greenery into the top of the carrot. Create a bow out of burlap ribbon and gather any additional embellishments.
Attach the bow using hot glue, floral wire, or a pipe cleaner. Tie or glue on any other embellishments to finish the wreath.
