Creamy Chicken and Rice Soup

In today's post: If the weather is getting a little chilly where you live, then it's the perfect time to make this creamy chicken and rice soup. It's easy to prepare, not high in calories, and absolutely delicious!

Ingredients

  • 1 package Rice a Roni Long Grain and Wild Rice
  • 5 cups Chicken Broth
  • 1/2 cup Grated Carrot 1 large or 2 small
  • 1/2 Medium Onion diced
  • 2 cups Broccoli chopped
  • 1 can Cream of Chicken Condensed Soup
  • 1 package Cream Cheese 8 oz
  • 3 cups Cooked and Diced Chicken

Instructions

  • In a soup pot, bring rice, seasoning packet, broth, carrot, onions, and broccoli to a boil.
  • Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
  • Uncover, stir in chicken, cream of chicken soup, and cream cheese.
  • Return to gentle simmer and cook, uncovered, until cream cheese is melted and rice is tender (about ten minutes more).
