Valentine's Day Wreath

Ingredients

  • 3 Large Wood Hearts
  • 3 Small Wood Hearts
  • Moss Mat or Sheet
  • 3/8 inch Ribbon
  • 5/8 inch Ribbon

Instructions

  • Remove the word from the large wood hearts. Unroll the moss mat and trace three hearts on the backing paper. Cut them out, cutting just outside the outer lines and just inside the inner lines.

  • Remove the backing paper from the moss hearts. Glue the moss hearts to the fronts of the three larger wood hearts.

  • Lay the hearts moss side down, stacked one above another. Position them two inches apart. Glue ribbon to attach them as shown in the photos, leaving a tail of ribbon extending into the middle of each heart from the top and bottom.

  • Thread the tails of ribbon through the holes in the smaller wood hearts, centering the small heart inside the larger heart. Fold the ribbon tails back on themselves and glue to secure. Create a loop above the top heart and glue to secure. Trim excess ribbon.

  • Tie small bows and glue them to the small wood hearts if desired.

Notes

Large and small wood hearts are from Dollar Tree. The Moss mat is from Walmart and the ribbon was found at Hobby Lobby.
