Wood Block Reindeer

Learn how to make these cute reindeer out of a 2×4, a wood coaster, and a couple of faux Christmas branches. This is an easy Christmas craft for adults you can complete in about half an hour.

Equipment

  • Hot Glue Gun
  • Sandpaper

Ingredients

  • 1 Wood Block cut from a 2x4
  • 1 Wood Coaster 3-4 inches in diameter
  • 2 Faux Christmas Branches small
  • Red, White, and Black craft paint
  • Small Foam Paintbrush
  • Small Detail Paintbrush
  • Ribbon

Instructions

  • Paint the coaster red and add white dots. Glue coaster to the 2x4.
    Glue noses to 2x4 blocks.
  • Stamp on eyes in black paint, using the end of the foam paintbrush. Add eyelashes and white dots with the detail paintbrush.
    Use end of foam paintbrush to stamp eyes; use end of small paintbrush to add white dots to eyes.
  • Bend the stems of the faux branches 90 degrees. Decide how you'd like them positioned, then use plenty of hot glue to attach them to the top of the block.

  • Tie some ribbon into a bow and glue it on to hide the stems.

Notes
