DIY Giant Easter Basket

You can make a giant Easter basket using a few supplies from the dollar store.

Ingredients

  • Laundry Basket
  • Pool Noodle
  • 6 yards 2.5 Inch Ribbon
  • 2 Zip Ties at least 9 inches
  • Thin White ribbon optional

Instructions

  • Weave ribbon in and out of the slots around the laundry basket on the top row. Make sure the ribbon goes outside the plastic piece that's in the center of each handle. Secure the ends of the ribbon with tape.

  • Continue weaving ribbon in and out of the other rows of slots on the Easter basket, alternating which plastic pieces are over and under on each row.

  • (Optional) Wrap narrow white ribbon around the pool noodle at a 45 degree angel, securing with tape.

  • Use zip ties to attach each end of the pool noodle inside each handle of the basket. Pull the zip ties tight, trim the excess, and push the trimmed portion to the side.

  • The basket is complete and ready to be filled with goodies.
