Plan out where you want the carrot to be on your board. The top of the ribbon portion will be about a third of the way down the board. Cut the ribbon at an angle.
Start laying out the ribbon on the board in a carrot shape, beginning at the bottom and folding the ribbon back and forth, always working upward.
Continue until the carrot covers the bottom two thirds of the board. Then begin using small dots of hot glue to glue the ribbon to the board.
Continue using small amounts of hot glue under each fold of the ribbon.
At the top of the carrot, trim the excess ribbon, leaving a few inches, then open up the last fold you made.
Trim the stems off the greenery and glue it on right above the ribbon. Use plenty of hot glue.
Immediately fold the end of the ribbon back over the greenery and press it over the hot glue to make sure everything is secure. Fold the end under and glue it as well.
Create a bow and glue it on to cover the glue you used to attach the greenery.
Optional: Add a beaded hanging loop using twine and small wood beads. Secure the ends of the twine to the back of the board with lots of hot glue, then cover them with felt.
