Use hot glue to glue dishes together. Be sure to center the dishes.
Cut the end of the jute rope at an angle, then begin gluing it along the bottom edge of your piece.
Continue gluing and wrapping the rope around and around, working your way up the piece.
Keep covering the piece with rope.
When you get to the top, cover the top edge with rope. Then start working inward to completely cover the inside as well.
Stop gluing when there is a circle about the size of a quarter left. Coil in some rope and mark how much you will need, then trim the rope at that point. Then place hot glue inside the circle and coil in the rope to fill it.
Attach new rope by cutting the edges cleanly and butting new rope right up against the old rope.
Once your pieces are finished, decorate and display as desired.
