Fabric Bunny Treat Bags
Learn how to sew these cute little fabric bunny bags – then fill them with treats! Slide on a wood bead for the head and your fabric bunny is ready to give away.

Ingredients
- 2 pieces Lightweight Cotton Fabric 5x9 inches
- 1 Wood Bead 35mm with 10mm hole
- Sewing Pattern
Instructions
- Use the pattern to cut two pieces from your fabric, cutting along the solid lines. Place them right sides together. Transfer the dots and dotted lines onto the fabric.
- Sew the pieces together using a quarter inch seam allowance, leaving the area in between the dots open. So start at one dot and sew out to the end of an ear, then down the side, across the bottom, up the other side, and down the inner ear to the second dot. Backstitch when you begin and end.
- Clip the extra seam allowance at the corners.
- Box the bottom two corners: pinch the side and bottom seams together at a corner. You will see that the dotted line you transferred creates the bottom of a triangle. Sew along the dotted line.
- Trim a quarter of an inch from the line you just sewed. Repeat with the other corner.
- Turn the bunny right side out, using a chopstick or pencil to push out the corners in the ears. Iron the seams flat (don't iron across the bottom).
- There will be an opening between the ears; that's where you can fill the bunny with treats or an Easter Egg.
- Fold each ear in half, and holding them together push them through the hole in the bead. Twist the bead back and forth as you do so to get the ears through if needed.
- Pull the ears all the way through and then straighten them out a bit as desired. Your bunny is ready to give away!
