Fold dollar bill in half widthwise, then lengthwise. Fold down corners and crease halfway down, then do the same thing from the bottom.
You have created a diamond in creases. Pinch up the bill along those creases. Flip it over so all you see is a diamond. Fold the top corner down to meet the center, then fold the bottom corner up to meet the center.
There will be two corners to either side. Smooth out those corners to create a cup shape. Repeat with the other two bills.
Cut an 18 inch piece of floral wire. Slide it down the two slits in the first "cup". Twist the wire together underneath, then let the wire extend to the sides that don't have slits.
Use a toothpick to curl the top corners of the bill in an "S" shape.
Slide the curled bill inside another "cup" and use the toothpick to press it down. Bring the floral wire to the bottom again and twist it tight. Repeat with the third "cup".
Use the toothpick to curl the corners of the two other bills outward to create petals.
Pull the stem off the faux rose. Remove the plastic piece and petals that sit just below the rose. Snip off the small tube and save it. Thread the wire on the money rose through that small tube, then slide on the leaves and plastic piece. Finally, slide the top of the stem into the tube while pulling on the wire.
Wrap the wire around the top of the stem, snipping off any excess. The rose is finished.
