Reese's Graduation Caps

Make adorable graduation caps using mini Reese's cups - so cute for a grad party!
Prep Time30 minutes

Equipment

  • Paper Trimmer
  • Gluestick

Ingredients

  • Miniature Reese's Cups
  • Black Cardstock
  • Embroidery Floss

Instructions

  • Cut black cardstock into 1.5 inch squares. Cut embroidery floss into 5 inch lengths.
    Black cardstock cut into 1.5 inch squares, yellow embroider floss cut into 5 inch lengths.
  • Fold each length of embroidery floss in half and tie a knot near the folded end.
    Fold embroidery floss in half, tie knot near the folded end.
  • Glue the knotted portion of the embroidery floss to the center of a black cardstock square.
    Use gluestick to glue tassel on top of black square.
  • Glue the other side of the cardstock square to the bottom of a mini Reese's cup. Trim the embroidery floss if desired.
    Glue the black square on top of a Reese's mini cup.

Notes

Allow glue to set before placing grad caps in a bowl for serving.
Grad caps can also be made into a "bouquet" using bamboo skewers and a mug with floral foam in it.
