Best Brownie Cookie Recipe
Is it possible that brownie cookies are even better than brownies? I’m gonna have to say yes to that one. These cookies taste just like brownies — they are made with a brownie mix after all — and the texture is amazing! The edges are chewy, the centers are soft, and the addition of chocolate chips makes them extra rich.

Why You’ll Love This recipe
- This is the easiest chocolate cookie recipe ever! Just add eggs, oil, a couple tablespoons of flour, and chocolate chips to a brownie mix in a large bowl. You can stir it all together with a wooden spoon, no need for a hand mixer or stand mixer. Then scoop the dough out immediately onto a prepared baking sheet and bake!
- The texture! Did I mention that already? The edges of the cookies are chewy, just like the edges of a brownie, but the center is perfectly moist (and rich and absolutely delish). Make sure you have a cup of milk handy!

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- In a medium bowl, add the brownie mix, flour, eggs and vegetable oil and stir together using a wooden spoon or sturdy spatula. When dough is mostly combined, add chocolate chips and stir them in as well. The cookie dough will be quite thick.
- Using a medium cookie scoop (#40, 1.5 tablespoons), scoop dough out onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper (or lightly greased).
- Bake 8-10 minutes until edges are set, tops are cracked, and centers still look soft. Allow to cool on the cookie sheet for 2-3 minutes before removing to a wire rack or paper towel to cool completely.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
Tips
Variations
Just like brownies, this brownie cookie is the perfect vehicle for different add-ins. Shoot for about half a cup of add-ins – this is a smallish batch of cookies and you don’t want to overwhelm the brownie flavor. Try one of these options:
- Reese’s Pieces OR chopped Reese’s cups OR peanut butter chips
- White Chocolate Chips
- Chopped Andes Mints
- Mini M&Ms
- Butterscotch Chips

This recipe is easy and amazing, how can you go wrong !

Do we add 2 extra eggs your recipe mentions for on top of the 2 eggs asked for from the original recipe already?
Can you use melted butter instead of oil?
Cheers ☺️
Autumn says
No, just 2 eggs total! Ignore the recipe on the back of the box. And you can try using melted butter instead of oil but the cookies will likely spread more and may end up flat.
