Free printable Valentine’s Day candygram (candy poster)

If you’re looking for an easy Valentine’s Day gift that won’t break the bank, a candy bar poster is a great idea. It’s a fun way to show someone you care without going over the top. Candy bar posters, or candygrams, are perfect for your husband, your kids, your kids’ friends, teens’ boyfriends/girlfriends, etc. In fact, my husband says he always wished someone would give him one back in high school, but it never happened. Poor guy, right?

I’ve created two different free printable candygrams so you can make a fun and easy Valentine’s Day gift for under 10 bucks. These are an especially big hit with guys and kids, but honestly, pretty much anyone would would enjoy receiving one.

Here’s a video that shows how to make them:

There are two versions. The first one is pretty generic, making it perfect for anyone:

Here’s how it looks all finished. I can’t imagine how excited my kids would be to wake up on Valentine’s Day and find one of these hanging on their bedroom door:

The second version is a little more romantic, making it a great gift for a husband or boyfriend:

Each poster prints out on 4 sheets of 8.5×11 paper. I printed the pages out on cardstock to make them a little sturdier. Make sure you print them at 100% or full size.

On some of the pages, you’ll need to trim the margins. The pages that need trimming have little lines to show you where to cut, which I’ve marked with arrows below:

Use those little lines as guides to cut the edges off, so that page looks like this:

Trim all the pages that have markings, then overlap them and adhere them together (you can use scotch tape or a tape runner). Then gather the candy bars that are listed on each poster:

And use more tape or a tape runner to adhere the candy bars to each empty spot. Finally, you can use a little bit of extra paper to cover the “S” at the end of Snickers and Whoppers on the first poster, and cover “junior” and the “S” on Junior Mints on the second poster.

Finally, you can tape or glue the completed poster onto a sheet of poster board or foam core board. I found this glitter edged poster board at Walmart.

LOVE this. Since all the valentines stuff is starting to pop up, I have been trying to come up with something to do for my kids that isn’t just more candy. This is such a cute idea, and something I bet they will all hang up in their rooms. Thanks for sharing your templates/printables.
