Christmas Juice Treats {perfect for class parties!}

In today’s post: Decorate juice drinks with construction paper to make a cute, easy Christmas treat.

I was a little sad the first time I got a note from my kids’ school saying we couldn’t bring homemade treats to class anymore. I mean, baking treats is kinda my thing, you know? But I get it. And in less time that it would take to actually make something, you can turn pre-packaged items into cute Christmas treats.

These adorable Christmas juice treats are an easy idea for classroom parties!

Christmas Juice Treats

I found these Hug Fruit Barrels juice drinks at the grocery store. They come in a pack of 20, with 5 each of red, green, blue and purple. Since purple isn’t a very Christmas-y color, we saved those for another time (i.e. my kids drank them immediately).

Then we used a little construction paper and some hot glue to turn the red, blue, and green drinks into cute Christmas treats my kids can’t wait to share with their friends.

Christmas Juice Treats Supplies

To make these Christmas treats, you will need:

Hugs Fruit Barrels – 1 box makes 15, so you’ll probably need 2 boxes for a full classroom

Construction Paper – 1 sheet each of red, white, black, green, and yellow

Hot Glue Gun

Black Sharpie

Small Red Pom Poms – Optional, you could use circles or stars cut from construction paper instead

It’s easiest to make the juice treats if you cut your pieces in advance, then the kids can help you glue everything on. Cut out five of each thing (10 white circles) to decorate one box of drinks. For the circles, either use a 1 inch circle punch or trace a bottle cap and cut around it.

Hey, glad you’re here!
