Happy March! Time for another quote printable. I’m enjoying swapping out my printables each month – it only takes 5 minutes and makes me feel like I’ve decorated the house (we’ll ignore the walls that have been bare for the past 8 years, shall we?). The quote for this month is from C. S. Lewis, and says: “There are far, far better things ahead than any we leave behind.”
I don’t know the context in which this quote was originally said, but I assume it refers, at least in part, to the next life in comparison to this one. But I like to think of it as applicable to this life as well, especially as my kids start getting older. It can be kind of scary when your kids approach the teen years, and it’s easy to get nostalgic for the days when you could rock babies to sleep and kiss hurts and make everything all better. But it’s good to remember how many wonderful things are in store for our kids, and for us as well, in the future.
This printable has text over a photo (of Bear Lake, UT), and I added a canvas texture to the file, which looks pretty cool:
Download the free C.S. Lewis quote printable by clicking here. As always, it’s sized to print as an 8×10 or a 16×20, although this one would probably work as a 4×6 too. Please make sure the “auto color correct” box is NOT checked if you’re uploading to Costco, and choose “lustre” or “matte” instead of “glossy”.
