Easy DIY Valentine’s Day Wreath
I wanted to make a new Valentine’s Day wreath this year, but I wanted something a little different. I came across this gorgeous wreath by Cre8CherishedMoments on etsy and decided to use it as inspiration for a heart shaped wreath made from greenery. My wreath is quite a bit simpler than the inspo, but I like how romantic it feels – it almost gives cottage vibes, right?

Supplies
Here’s what you need to make this romantic heart wreath:
- Nordic Pine Wreath: I thought about starting with a heart shaped wreath form and wiring on a bunch of greenery, but then I realized it would be much easier to begin with a round Norfolk Pine wreath from Amazon.
- Faux Roses and flowers: I found the roses and flowers at Hobby Lobby. You can use any type of faux flowers or berries you like. You could also add additional greenery.
- Mini Felt Banner: I found this cute mini felt banner at Hobby Lobby.

Add Flowers
When you flip the wreath back over, you’ll see that the greenery makes a heart shape. You’ll likely need to separate some of the branches, straighten some of them out, and bend others to make it look more like a heart. Once you like the shape, you can start playing with your florals to decide where to add them.

Instructions
- Take the wreath out of the box and straighten out the branches. Flip it over to see the round form on the back.

- Bend the wreath form into a heart shape.

- Flip it back over and adjust any branches as need to create a heart shape. Start placing florals to see where you want them.

- Trim the florals and glue them to the wreath, using plenty of hot glue as well as floral wire if desired to make sure they are secure.

- Cut off the hanging loop that comes on the wreath. Re-use that piece of twine to create a new hanging loop by tying each end to wires on the back of the wreath as shown.

- Add any other embellishments you like, such as a mini felt banner, ribbons, bows, hanging hearts, etc.

- Ready to hang!
